We’ll spend the first half of the day indoors covering fundamentals of hive management and the Oakley Texas-specific approach.
Apiary Session
After lunch, we’ll head outside to apply what you learned in real hives with hands-on guidance.

Because we believe hands-on training happens best in small groups, enrollment is limited to just 12 beekeepers per class, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.

No. Oakley’s One-Day Beekeeping Class is beginner-friendly and valuable for first-time beekeepers.

No. We’ll provide everything you need for the day, including lunch!

The class is $195. That covers the equipment you’ll use during the day and also your lunch.

Yes. Everything taught is designed for Texas seasons and conditions.
